After the acquisition of Taleo by Oracle, the scope for integration of both the systems eventually intensifies.

Session Description: Oracle Labor Distribution distributes payroll expenses to Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Projects and Oracle Grants Accounting. It provides more flexibility and ease with this integration. Labor expenses costed with home costing need to be overridden with Projects costing. Overridden values can be passed to both GL and Projects. Using Sub ledger accounting projects can take care of correcting GL.
In this session, Presenters talk about a recent government implementation that directly integrated payroll to projects and grants by-passing labor distribution and achieved equal labor costs distribution, overriding rules, exceptions, managing debit and credit entries, SLA rules. Attendees will also see the reconciliation reports that can be used to monitor the entire flow and ways of correcting any wrong transaction entries.
Projects can be made stronger by pushing in employee’s labor expenses. Customers looking for simple payroll to projects integration can make use of this.
